Description
This is Tucker. He is a 16-h beautiful blue roan Tennessee Walking Horse. We have gone many miles together and I can say without a doubt that this guy is a true FINISHED TRAIL HORSE. He is very careful with his feet, taking care of himself and his rider at all times. I have had kids, adults, beginners, everyone on him. He never takes advantage of a rider’s inexperience like many horses do.
There is just so much to say about this guy – The list is endless:
Traffic safe
Rides very well solo, in groups, from the trailer and the barn, not buddy or barn sour
Slow, methodical, careful with his feet – very safe to ride on all terrain – goes where he’s pointed
Sustained gates – whatever you want him to do he will stay at that speed/ loose rein
Would be considered a babysitter to his rider
Non spooky saddle
Very clean legs, excellent hard feet, 100% sound
Great with trailering, farrier, clipping, hosing, spraying
Grandma, kid safe
Registered with great bloodline
Beautiful blue roan color
16 hands tall, big boned
Has had only two owners (women) including myself – has never been at auction or in any sale
Has been a deluxe trail horse all his life – VERY SEASONED ON THE TRAILS
No maintenance required – absolutely no soundness or health issues with this guy- he will be the 30+ year old horse you’re still riding many years from now
Neck reins
Ground ties
No allergies or sensitivity to bugs or sun which is pretty common for horses here in the south
Much more woah than go – easy going, slow trail partner
If you watch Tucker in the video, you will see on the obstacle course, how slow and careful he steps through every obstacle – even the large step down onto the tire he does amazingly slow. The bridge after he goes up the stairs is 3 ft off the ground and only 2 ft wide (very thin). He makes it look easy but not many horses step over that thin bridge that easily. At the water canal, he moves slowly and carefully up and down steep banks and through the water where the sand is unstable and he sinks intermittently as he steps through it. He does not spook and stays very calm with all of these obstacles. This boy is truly very special and rare. He is always standing at the gate wanting to come out and spend time with you and is overall just a very willing partner.
Tucker is truly a special, beautiful boy that is the real deal and truly a safe trail horse which is what the vast majority of people are seeking and cannot find. This boy means a lot to me. I really want him to have a perfect forever home. He deserves to get all the attention and love from his special person. Are you that person?
