Whether you want to pick your cow or simply enjoy a ride, Sheriff is very cow-smart and gritty enough to read and hold a tough cow from the herd. He would make an outstanding cowhorse or Ranch Versatility show horse, featuring gorgeous spins, long and deep sliding stops, and easy lead changes. He lopes balanced circles on a draped rein, and my-oh-my, is he smooth! His ears are always forward, demonstrating his love for the job.
Sheriff has traveled all over the country, confidently navigating various terrains. He is sure-footed and brave in rocky mountains, thick brush, crossing desert arroyos, and even running river water. Safe for anyone and everyone, Sheriff is a fantastic confidence builder, riding gentle each time you saddle him, regardless of time off. He is comfortable around crazy dogs, blowing tarps, busy traffic, heavy machinery, and loud gunfire.
