Personality: Tommyis a personable gelding who loves people. If you enter his pasture, he’ll quickly find you and won’t let you leave easily!
Experience: This nicely broke ranch horse has a wonderful work ethicand has accompanied us on trails, camping trips, ranching, and clinics. He’s familiar with being hauled and tied out all day. Tommy has even drug bulls and ponied colts—he’s done it all!
Training: While he’s been schooled in the arena, Tommyprefers being outdoors and will happily do what’s asked of him.
Size: Standing just under 3 handsand weighing around 1200 lbs, Tommy is a big boy with an alpha personality. He maintains order in his herd without being a bully.
Health: We’ve had no health issues with Tommy, and he is an extremely easy keeper. He’s been kept barefoot and only shod for rocky terrain.
Ideal Rider: Tommywould thrive with a confident, intermediate-level rider who has the time to dedicate to him. He’s too nice of a horse to waste—he enjoys having a job and excels at it!
